Description... Background info?
So, I decided to make a reaction video for the main trailer as well, because seriously, of course that one would be way worse than the teaser! And I wasn't wrong. Know that I waited a long time to finally see it, and when the day and time was close, I kind of pressed f5 a lot.. ;) Very excited, very anxious. And then the trailer was online, and all the feels came flying from Erebor and in my face.
I might not have the most interesting and loud reactions, haha, basically because I had waited the entire day and had butterflies in my stomach and I was kind of in shock and everything. Too much for a poor fangirl ;)
Not only is it the last Hobbit film, but I have been a fan since The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Rings came out on dvd, and I as a 12 year old fell in love with hobbits and elves. Now a few years later, I fell even harder for hobbits, elves, and especially those damn dwarves. And since I know how it'll end, those damn dwarves only break my heart, this trailer didn't do much to help with that. For the love of all good things in Arda, this trailer is only filled with sorrow and heartbreak. LOOKING AT YOU, OAKENSHIELD.
(The movie will have a lot of good stuff, I'm sure, not only bring out the sad tears. At least let's hope so ;))
I'm looking forward to finally seeing BOTFA soon, but it's also very emotional since it's the last movie. It's been a fantastic journey, and I'm so glad I've been a part of it for the last 12 years ❤ I have a much deeper love and appreciation for J.R.R. Tolkien's fantastic stories and world, Peter Jacksons amazing movies, and everyone who's worked on the movies. These movies mean so much to me, and even tho I have cried and laughed, and The Battle of the Five Armies is going to hurt, pretty much nothing has give me so much happiness as Tolkien's stories and Peter's movies ❤
More hobbit feels? I made a fanvideo once, of course it's sad!
