This mallet was made from wood that my uncle gave me. The darker wood is walnut and the lighter colored wood is spalted maple. This wood was from trees on his property that were cut down and not used for anything (the scraps). This video was inspired from Steve Ramsey's video on him making a mallet. I did not fill the inside with lead bb's because last time I tried that, after a few years for use, the mallet faces caved in and got lead dusk all over my project.
