I can't not believe that I am making this video. This is so historic. The Model 3 is finally officially released and we finally got the last details of the Tesla Model 3 Kind of.
Elon Musk does a super review of the outside design. Then he goes on the the interior design. There is no HUD in the end. But the design of the Model 3 is very nice and clean. You don't need the HUD as the model 3 will be increasingly autonomous and when the autopilot is driving you obviously don't need these extra screens.
Then the Model 3 happens to be safer than the volvo S 60 which used to be the safest car on the road. Not anymore as the Model 3 scores a lot better than the Volvo.
And the final specs also came out. There is 2 version the standard and the long range. The long range will do 310 miles on a charge. This is completely incredible.
Then the acceleration is not so great unfortunately. I guess I was one of this people who confused the model S with the 3 and I was expecting that they would have a faster accelerating car. But I guess I am just spoiled byt the Model S as 0-60 in under 6 seconds is still really fast.
Then Elon Musk talks about the production difficulties of the Model 3 and how the manage everything at Tesla. He said it will be production hell. But they are really really working hard to deliver the model 3s to the new owners.
And then Elon Musk also talks about the supercharger network. As they are already quite full and Tesla is going to triple its fleet with the model 3. But they are also tripling the superchargers so that is awesome and hopefully will help with the overflow of cars needing superchargers.
So that is the end of the video. Tesla has really do a great job with bringing the Model 3 to market on time. The didn't manage to do it with the S and the X. The car is incredible and this is a truly historic moment.
