Mother (51) and Daughter (19) spent one week in Peru starting with 2 days acclimation in Cusco and 4 days hiking the classic Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. Sky Cusco provided 4 porters and a cook. We carried day packs with 3 liters of water, rain gear, cold weather gear, snacks, sun screen, chap stick, cameras etc. It was an amazing experience to see how advanced the Inca people's lifestyle was back in the 1400 and 1500's. We passed ruins that were just as amazing as Machu Picchu. Getting to camp near the ruins brought a fuller understanding of life back then. Learning about the Andes Religion led to a fuller appreciation of the architecture. Music is transitional Andean Pan-Pipes.
