This presentation outlines the factors behind the movement responsible for either strengthening or weakening the movement. These factors include the strength of the economy, the ever-changing political dynamics of the province, the role of nationalist organizations such as the FLQ, international trends/relations, province demographics and many more. To examine Quebec's sovereignty movement, a simple history lesson does not suffice. It is imperative to examine the reasons behind why nationalist sentiments emerged, and their effects on both the province and the nation.
