Today I take the Metro North Hudson Line to Beacon, New York to catch a small ferry. The ferry takes me to Pollepel Island where the remains of a replica Scottish Castle stand. The structure is called Bannerman's Castle and it was built to house Francis Bannerman's enormous arsenal of military surplus. We take a tour of the island and then head back to New York City!
