Thrashing around a VAS Wyvern V2. It is slightly redesigned from the original Wyvern in planform and also uses a different higher lift airfoil that really shines. It sufferes about a 10mph speed loss due to the extra drag but it's well worth it. This wing handles excellently - almost as if it has a stabilizer onboard.
Launch is at about half throttle, light discuss style toss at a 15 degree up angle.
At 3:20ish, I point to a corner of the RC runway. When I hit that spot, I bank 90 degrees and pull full up elevator. It turns within the width of the runway which is approximately 75 feet wide. This was at WOT estimated speed 110mph.
at the 4:10 mark, I go throttle off and show the nose up stall characteristics. I nose the plane up and don't touch the sticks at all. At 4:25, I induce a deep power off stall. The wing doesn't enter a spin but rather rolls completely around.
