Sadly, Pulse Jet Engines played a part in a infamous day 70 years ago today. On June 13th 1944 the first V-1, a Pulse Jet powered flying bomb landed on London. In the following 4 months 9,521 more were fired at London, then the V-2's started.
The Allies called the V-1"s Buzz Bombs due to the sound Pulse Jets make.
