Tom Cruise makes a personal visit to the service members of Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base, Texas, on December 6, 2001, to thank the men and women for their continuing contributions just weeks after the Sept. 11 attacks. Cruise was in the Dallas area in connection with his upcoming Paramount Pictures' release "Vanilla Sky," which opened nationwide on December 14, 2001.
