Here's my tutorial for a super easy baby blanket tutorial that also has texture and style. It works well for either baby boys or baby girls. In the tutorial, I'm making a Lovey sized blankie but I give the instructions to convert to a larger size. If you'd like a crib-sized blanket, expect to chain on about 160 chain stitches.
This is a blanket I make quite often for those I know having/just had a baby. They have a wonderful texture and is great for babies learning to self-soothe as they can wrap their little fingers through the holes to snuggle the blankie.
