Patch 7.3 is on it's way, (no official release date yet but Aug 29 or September 5th looking likely) and it's bringing some big quality of life changes to WoW Legion! Here are 7 refreshingly needed quality of life changes coming to World of Warcraft in the upcoming Patch 7.3.
Many of the quality of life changes coming to WoW 7.3 involve making Legion a more alt friendly expansion. Order Hall Champion item level catchup equipment tokens are negligible on a main WoW character but for that fresh alt trying to scrape through Order Hall missions and catch up- awesome! Similarly valuable to alts in Legion 7.3, all three of your relic slots will unlock right away at level 110 in 7.3, so you don't need to do your class campaign first. Also, the ability to put points into the new traits added in 7.3 (up into Concordance of Legionfall etc) will be available right away at level 110 without needing to assist Khadgar in the Broken Shores.
The change to the Fishing Round the Isles achievement is admittedly minor but apparently I'll be a lot closer to finishing it once that change goes live on the 7.3 release date! More exciting for the less alt-inclined WoW players in 7.3, Automatic Artifact Knowledge gain on the weekly reset instead of messing around with work order research. And my favourite- the new Lightforged Augment Rune coming to World of Warcraft in Legion 7.3! I've been dying for a permanent Augment Rune ever since we had to leave the last one behind in Warlords, so this will be great. You can get a Lightforged Augment Rune in 7.3 off of the Army of Light reputation quartermaster at Exalted rep.
Also I'm trying out a new format with this video with the whole green screen facecam thing and my keying skills are a bit rusty so apologies for any iffiness with the green screening. Practice makes perfect!
