In this video I discuss how the hinges failed in my Toshiba L55t laptop only about 8 months after I bought it. The threaded inserts
that are pressed into the plastic of the outer LCD back shell broke loose, leaving the hinge to move around loose inside the panel. I made an attempt to repair it by gluing the threaded insert and surrounding plastic back in place with super glue, and reinforcing it with epoxy putty. When that didn't last I re-did the repair with two part epoxy. That soon failed as well. So in this video I discuss the problem and take the laptop apart and prepare it for a more permanent repair.
