Newer laptop computers are generally more difficult or less likely to be up-gradable than older ones. There is a review from Amazon that said, was able to upgrade the memory. I took the risk and have successfully upgraded the memory and the hard drive.
Proceed at you own risk, since the computer is fragile and may not have been designed to be upgraded, and may void your warranty.
The video shows fingers are used to pry it open which can be done, but a flat screwdriver is used to pry it open the first time, then subsequently, it can be done using just your fingers.
There were a couple of very small plastic pieces that broke off the first time, but they turned out to be not a problem, since the cover uses plenty of screws.
