This boat was a promotional gift. I spent about $20 converting the toy electronics to hobby grade electronics. I tried using a 3S battery but one of the brushed motors ejected a brush. The drive shafts were rusty so I took them out and cleaned them. I used marine grease to seal up the drive shafts and the seam between the top and bottom half of the boat. It doesn't get a drop of water in it now. The battery it came with is a NiMH so I need to get a 2S LiPo.
