Bei Sonnenschein sind die Lichtgegensätze hier einfach zu groß und kaum zu bewältigen. Ich wäre besser beraten gewesen, die Aufnahmen bei bedecktem Himmel, also bei diffusem Licht zu machen. Die schäumende weiße Gischt im harten Sonnenlicht einerseits und die extrem dunklen Bildtteile im Wald andererseits wären mit keiner Kamera wirklich zufriedenstellend zu realisieren.

SJCAM SJ7 Star - Kenner und Könner wissen warum!
Trotz des großen Angebots an Actioncams kommen für anspruchsvolle User doch nur wenige Modelle in Frage.
Dazu gehört u.a. die SJCAM SJ7 Star. Für sie gibt es z. Zt. keine Alternative am Markt, was das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis für Actioncams 4K (UHD) 30 fps anbelangt.
Sie wird gegenwärtig eigentlich nur noch übertroffen von der Xiaomi YI 4K Plus, die 60fps schafft, aber wesentlich teurer ist.
Warum ich so scharf auf die SJCAM SJ7 Star gewesen bin:
1. Natives (echtes) 4K, (wenn auch "nur" in 30fps)
2. Alu-Gehäuse
3. Anschluß für externes Mikrofon
4. Der beste automatische Weißabgleich aller Actioncams, einschließlich der GoPro Modelle.
Grau wird bei der SJ7 wirklich als Neutralgrau, sowohl innen bei Kunstlicht, als auch außen bei Sonne, oder bedecktem Himmel,
z. B. bei Straßenpflaster, Asphalt, Gehwege, Beton, Häuserfassaden, wiedergegeben.
Die Farben haben weder eine Tendenz nach warm oder kalt, sondern sind schlicht und einfach neutral bei hoher Leuchtkraft.
Der Grund für meine Begeisterung ist, daß ich mich jahrzehntelang im analogen Farblabor, später mit Digitalkameras,
eigentlich vergeblich um wirklich exakte Grauwerte und damit um exakte Farbwerte bemüht habe
und das sowohl bei Fotos als auch bei Film/Video. Auch wenn man nahe dran kam, war Grau immer noch einen Tick zu warm oder kalt.
Ein wirklich neutrales Grau kann in mir, zur Verblüffung meiner Mitmenschen, wahre Begeisterungsstürme entfachen.
Mit der SJCAM SJ7 Star ist es nun geschafft,
das leidliche Problem ungewollter Farbstiche gehört schon beim Automatischen Weißabgleich weitgehend der Vergangenheit an.
Vielleicht kann meine Begeisterung auch nur jemand verstehen, der selbst jahrelang im Farblabor gegen Farbstiche gekämpft hat.
Für jüngere Leser ist das wahrscheinlich kein Thema, für viele ältere aber schon.
Sowohl durch eigene Erfahrung, als auch im A/B-Vergleich der SJ7 mit zahlreichen anderen Actioncams in etlichen YouTube Videos
und beim kritischen betrachten, ja man kann fast schon sagen auswerten, an meinem brillanten 27-Zoll-HP-Glossy-Monitor,
hat sich immer wieder bestätigt: das Grau ist bei der SJ7 am neutralsten und damit stimmen alle anderen Farben automatisch.
5. Beste Dynamik bei sehr starken Kontrasten, im A/B-Vergleich besser als z. B. GoPro.
Fensterkreuze, z. B. von innen nach außen gefilmt, überstrahlen selten, Himmel frißt nur bei extremsten Lichtgegensätzen aus.

SJCAM SJ7 Star - Experts and experts know why!
Despite the large offer of Actioncams, only a few models are suitable for demanding users.
This includes, among others, The SJCAM SJ7 Star. For them there is currently no alternative on the market, as far as the price / performance ratio is concerned, (4K, 30fps).
It is currently only surpassed by the Xiaomi YI 4K Plus, which creates 60fps, but is much more expensive.
Why I have been so keen on the SJCAM SJ7 Star:
1. Native (real) 4K, (if "only" in 30fps)
2. Aluminum housing
3. Connection for external microphone
4. The best automatic white balance of all Actioncams, including the GoPro models.
Gray is really a neutral gray for the SJ7, both inside artificial light, as well as outside in the sun, or overcast sky,
Eg in road pavements, asphalt, walkways, concrete, facades of houses.
The colors have neither a tendency to warm or cold, but are simply neutral with high luminosity.
With the SJCAM SJ7 Star it is now possible,
The probable problem of unintended color taintings is already largely a thing of the past in automatic white balance.
Both through their own experience, as well as in the A / B comparison of the SJ7 with numerous other Actioncams in several YouTube videos
Has confirmed itself again and again: the gray is the most neutral with the SJ7 and thus all other colors match automatically.
5. Best dynamics with very strong contrasts, better in A / B comparison than eg GoPro.
Window crosses, eg filmed from the inside to the outside, rarely radiate, sky eats only in the most extreme light antitheses.
