TUF motherboards are indestructible. They come with over-the top surge protections, obsessive shielding from the element. Gamer’s expect it to always boot, no matter what.
But they also expect a feature reach and performant gaming motherboard, and I am not certain that the TUF z390-Plus Gaming is up to the task.
It feels as if competing teams of engineers worked on the same motherboard.
On one side we have a rugged board, which does try to live up to the TUF reputation, but on the other hand, it is desperately feature-less…. And lack of even the most basic features, such as a type-c USB plug or front connector.
