The Typhoon H ready to fly multicopter is a feature-laden, comprehensive and intelligent hexacopter from Yuneec. Yuneec have a background in cutting-edge aviation technology and no expense has been spared creating one of the most advanced and exciting multicopters available on the market.
The Typhoon H is small, efficient and capable of capturing high quality 4k footage with its 360 degree camera and gimbal. This version of the Typhoon H is the 'Advanced' model. It comes with the 4K camera and 3-axis gimbal, retractable landing gear, ST16 ground station - which is intuitive and easy to use with an integrated 7" Android screen, one battery (flight time up to 25 minutes), and a colour box (see below for full list of box contents). This package contains everything needed to get up and flying.
This version can be upgraded with any modular Yuneec parts such as the Intel RealSense collision avoidance technology, and IPS (Indoor Positioning System) - which add to this hex's already expansive list of features and capabilities.
- Collision Avoidance - ultrasonic proximity sensors detect and prevent collisions with obstacles
- Orbit Me - with this mode enabled, the Typhoon H will fly in a circular path around the pilot
- Point of Interest - POI will allow the pilot to focus on a subject they want to orbit and the Typhoon H will fly around the subject autonomously
- Journey - create the perfect 'selfie' with this mode. The Typhoon H will fly up, out and return to you to capture the perfect 'dronie'
- Curve Cable Cam - often called 'waypoints', when in this mode the Typhoon H will fly between points you set whilst remembering the heading and camera position
- Watch Me/Follow Me - hands free piloting, the Typhoon H will follow the pilot, and in Watch Me the 4K camera will stay fixated on the pilot whilst following autonomously
- Dynamic Return to Home - enter 'Home Mode' and the Typhoon H will fly back towards the location of the pilot holding the transmitter, and land within 4-8 meters of the pilot.
- Failsafes - various safety features are integrated into the Typhoon H such as geo-fencing, low-battery return to home and no fly zones, designed to ensure flights are safe and reliable.
