I was having trouble working out mixing flap/gear channels on my Orange T-Six to operate the flaps on my UMX Carbon Cub, using the three pos'n flap switch. I came across a video where a guy was doing the mix on his DX6i. I copied the settings, and while it doesn't work like it does on the DX6i, I did get it working. He got three flap positions over using flap and gear switches, while since the T-Six has the three pos'n flap switch, I have flap positions over the two switches. The flap switch gives me 0, 25 and 50%, while the gear switch is 0 and 75%. I did have the gear switch at 100, but I can't see myself needing that much, even 75 is a lot for how I fly. This video shows them working, and I also show the settings on the Tx. I have not mixed any elevator in with flaps... yet, though I probably won't.
