The Kuru Toga mechanical pencils from Uni all feature a mechanism which rotates the lead slightly every time the pencil's tip is pressed down.
This ensures that the lead remains uniformly sharp, and ultimately, prevents lead breakage due to over sharpening. This mechanism is effective, under the rights conditions.
Overall, this specific Kuru Toga model (Roulette) is a great mechanical pencil, especially for the price. It is well made, comfortable, and fun to use.
