Throughout history the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana has changed it's shape and name many times. Today winner of the award for: "The green capital of Europe 2016" has been during antiquity by the Romans called Emona. Since that time and until 1918 the city known as Leibach survived the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian Empire after which is was finally called Ljubljana. Which in translation means Beloved. With word love in it.
Tough times has buried some secrets and left their marks which can be seen now days throughout the city. The legend of a dragon has different variations and the real one stays a mystery. Same is with the origin of the real city name today. Ljubljana.
A Dragon city that's how is also known today invites you to see it in all of it's beauty and charm to discover why residents believe it's the most beautiful city in the World.
