If you currently have a 333 exemption or have one pending, it will be valid for two years from the issue date. However the new Part 107 allows you to take a written test (called a Knowledge test) and get your Remote Operator certificate (Pilots license for commercial Drone flights). Part 107 certification is MUCH less restrictive than the older 333 and the 107 test will consist of 60 questions out of a large pool of questions.
