On the recent December Decimation Tour BareBonesMusic.com caught up with the extreme metal band UPON A BURNING BODY's lead vocalist Danny Leal. Danny was no holds barred with Evil G. when he spoke about the band's new album The World Is Ours, why they went with a old school gangster look and style and why all the songs are named after Al Pacino movies. He talks about the 5 years leading up to making this record and the bands struggles as a DIY band in San Antonio, Texas and finally getting signed to Sumerian Records and what it means to the band. Danny also talks about the band's video for the song "Carlito's Way" and their recently shot but yet to be released video for "Intermission" with well known video director Scott Hansen and what fans can expect from the video. Evil G. asks Danny what makes UABB different from other extreme metal bands and some of his unique vocal styling's. He also gives all the details on why twice the band was denied entrance into Canada. Finally Danny tells us what's going on with the band in 2011.
