We estimate that more than a quarter of the Amazon will be lost by 2030 if the current rate of deforestation continues.
Harnessing the knowledge and recognising the rights of indigeous communities is crucial to protecting it. But they can’t do it alone. Thanks to your support, indigenous people now have access to drone technology to detect deforestation encroaching on their land, and as the dry season approaches, equipment and training to fight fires.
