Unboxing & Installing a Sunsun UV Sterilizer on the 125 gallon reef aquarium.
In this video i will be unboxing and installing a Sunsun CUV-136 UV Sterilizer on the mixed reef tank. I will show you everything that comes in the box and how i put it together step by step. I decided to go with hard plumbing it off my manifold instead of using another pump and using a hose connection. The input and output of the sterilizer is 1.5 in and i needed to use fitting form homedepot to get it down to 3/4 inch. I added a ball valve on the output to control flow and contact time between the water and uv bulb. After installing around 1 am i woke up the next day and could see a noticeable difference in water clarity. It has been approximately 3 weeks after installation and i have continued to see clearer water. I haven't had any negative effects on the biopellet reactor or main display.
