I saw this antenna and knew I had to give a try I love Video Aerial Systems antenna. I decide to give it worse case scenario and do it sitting while flying low and below the house line. I'm using a Xm+ receiver running rssi on my osd and never went below 30% signal. The thing that impressed me most was that my rssi % would only bounce up and down 2 or 3% even while doing flips and rolls unlike like the stock antenna which would bounce by 10 - 15%.
I'm using a Taranis X9D Plus SE with the VAS Diamond 2.4GHz Dipole Antenna. The quad is a Toothfairy hyperlight build using an Xm+ for the receiver. The video is with a Hawkeye Firefly micro camera running at 1080p. I'm also using VAS Mad Mushroom and a Pepperbox antenna with a True D module.
