Make a hole on your drone, poke the wifi antenna out, and use a $10 wifi extender to get a range of over 1 kilometer. I Don't know what I did wrong with mine, but the quadcopter now seems to yaw slowly to the right. So proceed with caution with this mod..
EDIT: I rearranged the wires inside the craft and now it goes straight. i guess there was some interference.
