Voomall XT001A Mini Headless Quadcopter 2.4GHz 4CH 6-Axis Gyro RC drone with 360° Eversion & flashing lights
My 15 year old son is pretty good at flying drone / quadcopters. But this one gave him a little challenge at first. After a few hours he was able to get more control over it. The headless quadcopter comes with the RC Quadcopter, a transmitter, the Li-po battery, USB cable, four spare propellers and a user manual.
The transmitter does require six AA batteries that are NOT included. The knobs for the controller are detachable and is easy to put in. There is storage on the back of the transmitter to store the two knobs. That was a little odd from all the drones and quadcopters we have. Another different thing about this quadcopter is the battery. It charges different and is built into the copter. There is no power switch. You just connect the two plugs and it is powered up.
Once powered up and paired by moving the left knob up and down you will hear the beep confirming it is connected. It is a fast drone. I love that you can make it do a 360 degree turn. We haven't figured out how to get it to do a 360 degree flip yet. But that is his goal. You can also make it swirl or sway from side to side. It has a lot of different features compared to other quadcopters and it makes it more challenging and interesting to fly rather than just back and forth and / or a flip.
Another great feature about this quadcopter is the dome shell. It gives the quadcopter protection from the propellers. But most of all it gives us on-lookers protection if it hits you though it still does hurt as my son did hit me with it as I was recording. But it definitely protects the propellers / blades from damage.
Over all, this is a pretty cool mini headless quadcopter that I would highly recommend for a lots of fun. It works great and is challenging (depending on your skill set).
**I received the quadcopter for free in return for my honest and unbiased review**
