Despite the camera in the new Vortex 150 Mini being a Sony HS1177 sensor and chipset, it performs vastly inferior to a stock Foxeer HS1177. These two clips were shot immediately one after the other (only a couple of minutes between them), and even though the light was even lower for the second flight (with the Foxeers HS1177), you can see that the stock-standard Foxeer performs better than the Fat Shark camera.
What gives? Why do Fat Shark cameras suck so much??? I have tried to adjust just about everything, and this is about as good as it gets. Do I have a problem with my camera? If not, are there any settings that you could recommend I try? The light was not THAT low (if it was, the Foxeer would have switched to black and white).
