First Impressions of the BH-4J Crawler

10/19/18 First Drive:
Had a chance to take the crawler out for the first time today. Honestly? It was even better than I was expecting. Was able to navigate through some really tall grass. This thing is flat out heavy which I think aided it in keeping the power planted to the ground. The heavy body makes for a lot of body roll & lean. Something to be aware of. Will post more in time but 1st real driving impressions were better than I expected.
11/21/18 (was my guess):
Took this along with my Redcat Everest 10 down to the park and around the block on a walk with my child. Truck performed good. However I noticed a chugging/rhythmic turning noise from the motor area I believe on full throttle. If you youtube other videos of the BF 4J, they all have music playing along with them so you won't get to hear it there. I'll post a video of the noise shortly here on this channel to see what you all think. Get your opinions. FYI, you can hear it briefly in my test drive at. 5:45 in this video.
9/4/19:
This will be my last update on this truck as I have a good feel for what it is. Real quick answer? A good crawler. Pretty reliable. Now I think it's best as a trail truck. If you're wanting to do challenging rock crawling or a compeition or something, then you'll have to change some things up as it's top-heavy with this body. Furthermore, finding other bodies that could fit the size of this thing could be challenging. But I like this truck. Check out my video of it on my channel "VRX Racing BF-4J Crawl in Vail Colorado". This is the type of stuff I think it's best suited for.
