One of my favorite songs since 8-08-09, when my friend Christine told me about this song. Although the song is originally meant for Passion's grandmother (RIP at kapayapaan po sa inyo ng Panginoon), I dedicate this song to my friend Christine, Dawn, and their special relative: Frederick, who returned to to the Lord on 8-01-09. Frederick, may you now find sweet relief and eternal rest in the hands of God. We will truly miss you. Here is a prayer that I offer up for Frederick, the prayer of St. Gertrude. You do not have to if you don't want, but I invite all of you to pray with me especially for Frederick :)
"Our Lord dictated the following prayer to St. Gertrude the Great to release 1,000 Souls from Purgatory each times it is said:
Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal church, those in my own home and within my family. Amen."
