Ordnance Survey has two mapping agreements covering the public sector, one for England and Wales, and one for Scotland. Having membership of one of these agreements gives a public sector organisation access to a range of premium Ordnance Survey data products. These agreements helps organisations to deal with a wide range of challenges and make use of geographic and location data across a range of applications. Having a common geographic view of a location enables greater data sharing of information between organisations. The video discusses what is mapping data - the different types, and how that data can help to improve local services and help you make better decisions .
