This is a Whirlpool Wall Oven with a door that will close except for the last inch. It not only lets out heat but the defective door will allow the light to come on indicating the oven has stopped heating, with a digital readout of " door open." Until I came up with a solution, you could put a heavy chair against it,or a broom wedged against it to make the door operate. My solution to a $300 repair was spending $3 at Home Depot for magnets. The magnets on the door and frame completes the closing process and no more open oven door.
