Maiden flights of my beautiful Driggs Skylark balsa biplane, built from Pat Tritle & Jim Dean plans that were introduced by Dare Design in 1950! You can see me fighting some pretty high winds, gritting my teeth and still having a great time with my son, who was filming me. The flights provided me with some useful data and I believe with a few more transmitter programming changes this will be a great flying model. If not, then I am going to add ailerons to the bottom wing. Thanks for watching!
