From east to west, Wild Side wonders abound in Tennessee. Big and small, simple and grand, these natural jewels are part of what makes our state unique. But not all of them are open to the public...many can be found on private land. One of those is Cummins Falls, the largest privately owned falls in Tennessee. Recently developers came up with a plan to build houses there, shutting them off forever from public use. But now, thanks to the generosity of a local doctor and the determination of the Tennessee Parks and Greenways Foundation, an effort is underway to save the falls. Wild Side Guide Ken Tucker takes us to Jackson County along the Eastern Highland Rim, where the waters of Blackburn Fork River reveal a true Tennessee treasure.
