Only went out to 2.5k today as I was using up the 1300 4S I had charged up a week or 2 ago and hadn't flown since. (Yes I know I'm bad, my batteries will hate me!)
I'd say 5k out and back IS possible on a 1300 4S, but that would leave no room for error and that's not the way I intentionally do things.
After it flying ok from the maiden, I buggered about with INAV and its not really flown well since. It was a bit tail heavy with the light batts, otherwise, its not flown better. Can't wait for a decent day to try the 4000 3S Multistar batt again. Going to fly it till Failsafe then!
Just need to have a go at the settings on the HS1177. I have a put some settings into this cam as I normally do, but this Banggood special doesn't seem to be respond as well to them. The colours are a bit messed up. Worst case, I swap it out for a Arrow V3 I took out of the F1 when I put the Mini Split in it.
