Episode 42 Sharing music through two sets of headphones can be tricky these days, normally requiring an earphone splitter. Tech startup Wearhaus (Wireless Headphones) wants to change this with its new Wearhaus Arc headphones, which aim to make music sharing easier and more seamless through its wireless capabilities.
Working alongside an iOS and Android app, the headphones let users see what people around them are listening to, giving the opportunity to join them or broadcast their own music. The app also lets users customise the colour and brightness of the light ring on the headphones, as well as set the backlights to sync with friends, pulse in tune with the music, or turn off completely.
According to the designers, the headphones can sync with 30 people simultaneously (although they've only tested with 6) and can play 16 hours of audio or about 10 hours while sharing. Each pair of Arc headphones comes with a USB charging and AUX cable.
