Founding shareholder and attorney Jere Beasley has announced a wrongful death lawsuit filed against General Motors in light of a woman's fatal accident behind the wheel of a now recalled Chevy Cobalt. Aubrey Wallace Williams, a 32-year-old mother of two, was killed in December 2013 as a result of a faulty ignition switch. Despite having known about the malfunction back in 2001, GM delayed its massive recall of ignition switches, placing its profits over the lives of its own customers. Mr. Beasley refers to GM's decision as a "big-time corporate mistake."
