Please check out my other 130+ RC videos. 95mm Woops to 1000mm X-Class quads and some stuff you may have never seen before....For this video just when I thought there was no need to build yet another racing quadcopter...along comes X-Class FPV racing. Open class 800mm-1200mm quads with up to 17 inch blades and 12s (yes,12s) rigs that easily scream over 100mph! Except for the frame, which was about half of the total cost I built this one on a budget just to get started. I spent as much time on the LED's (which are required in X-Class) and routing the wires through the 21mm rounds tubes as I did putting the rest of it together. I still need a canopy built to X-Class specs for it to completely race ready and a legitimate X-Class racing Quad. I had never used black PCB LED strips before but I really like them. They almost compliment the quad during daylight as opposed to the white ones that don't look great to begin with and over time look even worse after getting dirty. This video is the first flight with a 6s, and I am pleased, but I don't expect to be hitting 100mph anytime soon...at least not in my backyard. One interesting aspect of this video is how you can see each individual motor spin faster and slower with my stick inputs when it was higher off the ground.
