It may be hard to imagine that former American Idol judge and current X Factor judge Simon Cowell has a soft side. He is known for being a bit rude and straightforward with contestants he judges. But over the weekend, the X Factor got a surprise guest who showed just how much of a softy Cowell can be. His 2 year old son Eric stopped by the X Factor Studios, and he had a surprise for his dad! Cowell's son with girlfriend Lauren Silverman had created a special card for his dad, and he was so excited to give it to him, he couldn't stop jumping up and down. Cowell admitted that he wasn't sure how he would do as a parent, given the scary exterior that most of his fans have seen, but he said that he loves his son more than anything, and is incredibly happy as a father.
