Well, i finally got my X-Uav 'Clouds' delivered to me and decided to do an unboxing vid..... I don't really do these kind of vids... it's a bit long and i drone on a bit, but hopefully there'll be some snippets in there useful to anyone waiting for theirs (or thinking of buying one).
It'll most likely be the only plane i build this year (maybe), so i'm gonna take it slowly (my default building speed).
My first impressions are that i really like it. The shape is killer. Nice lines and a sleek looking design. Big wings!....IF it flies as nice as it looks then it'll be a hit. I particularly like the shape from the front...it kinda looks like a Catfish or something...i think i'll call mine 'The Turtlehead'. :D
My spars were already glued in (badly). Not sure whether they'll all be like that but so far it's my only complaint.....well, maybe they could have given a bit more space in the nose for the camera set-up (the nose will need modifying to get pan/tilt servos or a gimbal in there).
I'm really looking forward to building her.
