Update:
Don't buy an Xaircraft, the GPS and compass systems simply don't work and never will
Crickey I was wetting my pants, it's a bit different alright
Really struggled to get used to translating the movement on the screen to real life, I guess that's a problem with viewing through the GoPro standard lens, it doesn't show the movement as much so I was reacting way too slowly :)
XAircraft X650
GoPro HD set on R3, no auto stabilisation on cam mount
Using a Solos 7 inch LCD screen and made sure I coudl still see the quad line of sight
Conclusions:
1) I need Goggles
2) It's not as easy as it looks
3) Get some new underwear
4) Use a security cam for FPV and use the GoPro to record with a Sunex/Ragecam lens
5) Calm down, have a cigarette
I did take off and land FPV
