Here is our first custom modded Xbox One console. It's by no means perfect but we had limited tools and the entire project was done by hand with no factory add-ons whatsoever.
Here is what we did.
We used our strip-down method found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9i3AHG6cyDw
We then added LED's shown here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltdYJkfK-A4
We then drilled 12 equal holes in the fan chassis centre to bounce light onto the fans.
We removed the chassis lid completely as there was not enough of it left to prove worthwhile.
We then relocated the speaker to the right hand vent and moved the Wifi / Bluetooth chip into view by extending the power cable.
We added 3 Green LED's to the underside of the Bluetooth chip
Then we wired a power source from the bluetooth chip to a molex cable and attached 3 blue LED's to the case also on molex to shine above the Bluetooth chip. (molex so it can be detached for opening or maintenance purposes)
We proceeded to cut the shiny black case and filed / sanded it down to suit by hand.
Last but not least we cut the perspex to fit the hole we had created in the case lid and glued in place.
We hope you like this project, we certainly expect to do more of these.

P.S. The top case might take a bit more work to square the cuts up so we do know that but we need a bit of a rest and some Xbox time. (DONE plus Chrome trim added))
