Receiver had a noisy right channel volume control.
Unit was first checked for DC voltage output at the speaker terminals even though the relay was clicking.
The noise was present with all functions (tuner, phono, aux, and tape). Contact cleaner was sprayed in through the opening at the top of the volume control (with the power off). The volume control was then worked back and forth; again, with the power off. Some of the other potentiometers were sprayed too, but not all could be easily gotten to. The switches were left alone. A quick check was done with an audio generator and an oscilloscope. No other work was done.
