so finally had the time to upload my Yokomo Drift car build.
Yokomo YD-4 was pretty straight forward to build. The glitches of initial release(screw to use in 1 stage was part of earlier bag, etc) have been identified and have small note reminders already.
No special tools required and being a noob on building kits, i would say this one was a good start.
I was pretty impressed with the quality of the materials, even the plastic parts. Though I still have some parts I wish to replace, but more of a want vs a need.
Overall, I am stoked with this car and now left with practicing how to drift!
This was also my first time to paint a bodyshell. I guess the hard part was the cutting, the painting was like painting any other item, just that there is a twist...paint inside!
The lexan body of team tetsujin was ok, it had it's good points and bad points - top of each:
good: detail grooves are evident and easy to follow.
