This is a great tasting cake made with cake flour light and delicious..
1 1/3 cups butter
3 1/2 cups granulated sugar
4 eggs room temperature
3 teaspoons vanilla
6 cups cake flour (sifted)
5 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups milk
Cream butter and sugar together till smooth and fluffy add eggs beat till all combined/ Add vanilla mix till combined
Add baking powder and salt to cake flour and lightly stir.
Add dry ingredients to the batter slowly alternating with milk till all smooth and silky.
Grease and dust with flour a 12x18 sheet pan
The pan is 2" 12x18
Bake at 325 for 40-50 minutes check for doneness with a cake tester or toothpick.
Let stand on cooling rack for 20- 30 minutes then remove from pan.
