Sophia is one of the best examples of humanoid robots that are built with a social purpose: to team with individuals and help and encourage them when in needs. Sophia is not very smart yet, but this is just the beginning. Sophia was at IBC 2017, a broacasting event that took place in Amsterdam in August 2017.
