We say goodbye to Cape Leveque after a gorgeous sunrise and make our way towards civilisation, the ubiquitous town of Broome.
Our progress is hindered by fires on the road, so shortcuts and detours are taken through back roads and private tracks. After arriving at Broome we take a long leisurely drive along Cable Beach, one of the widest shorelines Australia has to offer.
We also cover all the mods and additions to the ARB vehicle, and study how it handles the hard terrain.
